West Africa Biotechnology Network (WABNET)
The network has purpose of fostering linkages between countries in the West African sub-region to ensure biotechnology development across the region. It is still at the formative stage, contacts are being made with member states for the formal inauguration of the Network through ECOWAS. Collaboration is being made in driving this process with the Secretariat of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)
